Day 1 - LONDON ARRIVAL - Your personal private S-Class chauffeur will meet you at London Heathrow airport and bring you to the Rosewood in central London. We have reserved a day-room for you to freshen up, before you leave for the Scottish Highlands in the evening on the Caledonian Sleeper. This evening you will depart on the Caledonian Sleeper, the most civilized and preferred way to travel by the royal family between Scotland and London, arriving refreshed at your destination from your overnight journey.
Day 2 - INVERNESS - Arriving in Inverness we invite you to check-in early at the hotel. Nestled on the leafy banks of the River Ness, lies Ness Walk. An idyllic 5-star retreat, just 10 minutes from Loch Ness. This afternoon you will set sail on Loch Ness to seek out Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, on a 2-hour cruise from Dochgarroch Lock. The boat is fitted with a special Nessie sonar, but if the elusive monster doesn’t show up, the area's other sights will charm you instead. Pass along the Caledonian Canal into Loch Ness to see Urquhart Castle, Bona Lighthouse, and the crash site of a World War II bomber. You'll learn about the loch’s history and legends as you cruise.
Day 3 - HIGHLANDS - Discover the magic of the Scottish Highlands on this private tour from Inverness. Day 4 - BALMORAL - Balmoral Castle has been the Scottish home of the Royal Family since it was purchased for Queen Victoria by Prince Albert in 1852, having been first leased in 1848.Today you will explore the grounds, parks and interiors of this stately vacation home.
Day 5 - EDINBURGH - Our guide will help you to explore famous landmarks and hidden secrets on Edinburgh’s famous Royal Mile and gain insight into famous writers and inventors who have called the city home. Hear tales of Scotland's national bard—Robert Burns—and discover top landmarks such as St. Giles’ Cathedral and the National Galleries of Scotland and gain entry to the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Day 6 - EDINBURGH - A visit to Edinburgh Castle will allow you to learn about the history including stories of the kings and queens who lived in this castle. There is evidence of a fort here for almost 3000 years, and it has been a royal castle since at least King David I’s reign in the 12th century. The Scottish monarchs continued to use it until 1633, and even saw the birth of King James VI within its walls. In the late afternoon a quick flight from Edinburgh with British Airways will bring you back to London City Airport, where your London adventure awaits. Tonight, we invite you to dine at one of London’s hottest restaurants, celebrating your Highlands journey.
Day 7 - LONDON - London is best discovered on foot. Today you will discover the spectacular sights of this vibrant city guided by your own personal knowledgeable guide. Customize your itinerary according to your cultural and historical interests. Your expert guide will pre-plan logistics like transportation and reservations, and then delve into the capital’s rich history by listening to illuminating commentary.
Day 8 - LONDON - Today you will see the home of royalty and 1,000 years of royal history. Starting with Windsor Castle the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39monarchs. Today The King spends most of time private time at the Castle. This must-see monument is a powerful testament to human ingenuity, imagination and creativity. We then venture on to Stonehenge. Experience the unforgettable atmosphere of the Stone Circle and follow in the footsteps of the prehistoric people who lived here 4,000 years ago as you walk among the Neolithic houses and mysteries of the wider Stonehenge landscape. Your day-trip continues to Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and founded by the Romans as a thermal spa. An important centre of the wool industry in the Middle Ages, in the 18th century, under George III, it developed into an elegant town with neoclassical Palladian buildings, which blend harmoniously with the Roman baths.
Day 9 - LONDON - On your final day in London, you are going behind the scenes of the world’s most successful movie franchise…and playing the leading role! This incredible experience makes the dreams of every James Bond fan come true as you immerse yourself into the cloak and dagger world of espionage, you’ll pick-up some handy counter surveillance tips too.
Day 10 - LONDON - You have the morning to spend at leisure in London, in the late afternoon your chauffeur will bring you to London Heathrow airport for your trip home.
