• Upon arrival to Zurich Airport, an English-speaking representative will be waiting for you near the luggage pick-up area, holding a sign with your name on it.
• Meet your private driver and settle in for a transfer by private vehicle from Zurich to Lucerne. Approximate transfer time is 45 minutes.
• A welcome package with a city map, train tickets (if relevant), local contact list, various brochures of the destinations you will be visiting and any other touristic information that we deem you may find useful will be waiting for you upon arrival at the first hotel on your trip.

• Sights and Insights
• Set out from Lucerne with your private guide to experience picturesque Lake Lucerne, and discover the engineering feats which have allowed the Swiss to conquer Mount Pilatus. Begin the day boarding a leisurely scenic cruise on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad. From here, board the world’s steepest cogwheel train and ascend to Pilatus Kulm, at a breathtaking 7000 feet in height. With a gradient of up to 48 percent, the Swiss were both determined and successful in conquering this incredible mountain, a true feat of ingenuity. At the top of Mount Pilatus, stroll around to enjoy the dramatic panoramic views over the Swiss Alps and Lucerne. To descend, board an aerial cable car to Fraenkmuentegg, where you'll change to smaller cable cars and sweep over pine forests and mountain meadows to the village of Kriens. Admire incredible views of the alpine landscape through the engineering dynamics of the cable car. Return to Lucerne by private transfer. • Ride the Rails
• Today’s self-guided excursion will take you to the very heart of the Bernese Alps: the mighty Eiger, Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau form the imposing nucleus of the Alpine Region. Walk to Interlaken Ost station and take the train into the Waterfall Valley of Lauterbrunnen where you will need to change trains and board one to Jungfraujoch. Approximate travel time from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch is 2.5 hours each way through stunning scenery. At Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe, you can visit the Ice Palace and the Sphinx Terraces - reached by lift affording a breathtaking view of the Aletsch Glacier, the largest river of ice in Europe. Refreshment or a meal can be obtained at the Jungfraujoch Restaurant "Top of Europe". After roughly 2.5 hours exploring the vistas, return to the mountaineering village of Grindelwald, known as the winter sports and mountaineering center. Enjoy the view on the mighty mountains, before returning to Interlaken where you'll independently transfer back to your hotel. Tickets to Mt. Jungfraujoch and seat reservation from Kleine Scheidegg – Jungfraujoch and back are included.

• INTERLAKEN TO ZERMATT

• Meet your guide for a train station transfer with a private vehicle.
• Board a train from Interlaken to Zermatt, with service including a change of trains in Spiez and Visp. Approximate travel time is 2 hours and 15 minutes including transfers.
• Your hotel will provide a complimentary car transfer between the train station and the hotel.
• Enjoy a leisurely day atop one of the most stunning mountain tops, Mount Gornergrat, on a self-guided excursion. Board the cogwheel train from Zermatt station, and relax on the ride leading over dramatic bridges, through galleries, tunnels, across forests of larch and Swiss stone pine, and past rocky ravines and mountain lakes. The train stops at four different stations along the way, each one an excellent option as a starting point for hiking depending on your preferred duration. Once you reach the Gornergrat summit station, you will have spectacular views of Matterhorn, Weisshorn, Monte Rosa Massif, and its highest peak Dufourspitze. Here you will also find plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the scenery and time to enjoy a fresh lunch at your leisure (not included and payable directly to the restaurant) at Europe’s highest-altitude hotel and restaurant. Tickets for the cogwheel train are included.

• Lose Yourself in Nature
• Meet your private guide for an adventure to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, an unforgettable experience at the top of a legendary mountain. Matterhorn’s famous summit, at a mighty altitude of 12,739 feet, invites you to discover Europe’s highest aerial cableway and mountain station. If you are keen to visit even higher up the mountain, the summit lift will whisk you to the viewing platform, boasting a stunning 360 panoramic view. Drink in the Italian, French and Swiss Alpine giants towering over 13,000 feet as well as 14 spectacular glaciers. See if you can make out Mont Blanc – Europe’s highest mountain – and, further in the distance, the Jungfrau in all her radiant beauty. A visit to the world’s highest Glacier Palace will make the excursion an experience you will never forget.

• ZERMATT TO ZURICH

• Board a train from Zermatt to Zurich with a change of trains in Visp. Approximate travel time is 3 hours and 20 minutes.
• Meet your guide for a train station transfer with a private vehicle.
• Explore the city center of Zurich on a relaxing walking tour through Switzerland’s largest city and one of the world’s most important financial centers. With your private guide, wander along the streets and take in a good overview of Zurich’s many sides. Stroll through the business district, lined with ample shopping opportunities, through the Old Town, and along the lake to recharge amongst the greenery of the city’s recreational areas on the outskirts. Visit Fraumünster to see Chagall’s stained-glass church windows, and stop at the lake for a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Please note, as this is an orientation tour, admissions (if desired) are payable on the spot.
