Steeped in tradition Doha is quickly becoming an arts and culinary mecca thanks to its spectacular modern skyline that leads via a large boardwalk called the Corniche to the Museum of Islamic Art. Of course, you will still be able to find traditional bazars, ride camels, go dune bashing and learn about falconry. On any given day you could sample a portfolio of sophisticated restaurants and then watch the sun set while cruising a traditional dhow on the water or over sand dunes that seem to spring from a fairy tale.
